JDG to aid GAO in oversight of "Bailout" program

The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO), founded in 1921 and located in Washington, DC, is the agency that works for Congress and the American people. Due to the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act, GAO has been charged with substantive oversight related to the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). As a result, we are seeking Financial Economists, Financial Market Specialists, and Financial Auditors with technical expertise in the following:

-Mortgage-related securities
-Financial instruments
-Financial statement audits
-Risk management
-Capital allocation
-Public accounting
-Internal control assessment
-Financial and credit analyses
-Corporate finance

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years experience are required. Advanced degree/certifications preferred. Salary range up to $169,300. U.S. citizenship required.
