The Public Sector Practice of PwC is a focused organization providing business advisory services for the Federal Government in financial management, process improvement, project and portfolio management, financial management, and cyber security. | Requirements | * Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Budget performance and integration
- Financial reporting and controls
- Forensic accounting
- Property and asset management
- Grants and credit management
- Fraud investigation and recovery
- Audit readiness and remediation
* Superior analytical and problem solving skills with previous experience as the "functional lead/subject matter expert" in one or more of the service offerings listed previously.
* Federal financial services experience, preferably within the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, Federal Deposit Insurance Company, Department of Agriculture, Department of Education, Department of Energy, and Housing & Urban Development.
* Proven record as a leader in the successful management of multiple projects and teams.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly-matrixed environment and at all levels within the PwC model.
* 8 - 15 years of accounting, financial accounting, and/or budget modeling experience. Background in credit reform accounting or anti-money laundering (AML) compliance is a plus.
* Experience building productive relationships with colleagues and/or clients. |
| Responsibilities | This is an opportunity to be involved in growing PwC's footprint in the Federal Financial Services' sectors. The Executive will act as a "trusted advisor" to clients.
